Susan West

As Director of Academic & Student Affairs, Susan oversees academics and student life for all EMBA Programs at Columbia Business School. The Academic and Student Affairs team that she leads supports EMBA students throughout their lifecycle as a student, including the onboarding process, organizing orientations, serving as academic advisors, planning events throughout the program, approving students for degree conferral, and coordinating graduation ceremonies. 

Susan joined the EMBA Program Office in 2015, previously working at ESCP Europe in Paris, Virginia Commonwealth University, and the University of Wisconsin. She holds a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology (Psychology in Education) from Columbia University and a master’s degree in Professional French Studies (International Education) from the University of Wisconsin. Susan is originally from the Missouri Ozarks and enjoys hanging out with her dog, Henry, and eating croissants.
