The Private Equity Program serves as the Business School's primary point of contact with the private equity industry, unifying students, alumni, and the business community into a single network. The Program has an active advisory board, a calendar of events throughout the year, and several research projects.
Professor Donna M. Hitscherich currently serves as a senior lecturer of Finance, director of the Private Equity Program, and a Bernstein Faculty Leader at the Sanford C. Bernstein & Co. Center for Leadership and Ethics at Columbia Business School. Professor Hitscherich’s courses include Corporate Finance as well as the elective courses Business Law, Mergers and Acquisitions, and Advanced Corporate Finance. In 2002, she was nominated for the Dean’s Award for Innovation in the MBA Curriculum for her presentation of the Advanced Corporate Finance course.
Greta E. Larson is the Administrative Director in the Private Equity Program at Columbia Business School. She interfaces with alumni, industry professionals, and students who are working in, or aspire to work in the field of private equity. Greta helped create the PE training program for second year MBAs (formerly known as the PE Fellows Program), and plans and facilitates the program's annual Deal Camp in Montauk.
