Eli is a behavioral scientist and doctoral candidate at Columbia Business School, where he studies climate change and decision-making. Before joining Columbia's Marketing Division, Eli worked at Qualtrics, advising academic, industry, and governmental researchers.

Research: Eli's research comprises two core streams. First, he investigates how consumers form beliefs about products and firms beyond the information they are provided directly—particularly in the context of environmental sustainability. Second, he explores how to improve the practice of online data collection to strengthen behavioral science. His work makes theoretical, methodological, and practical contributions across marketing, consumer psychology, public policy, and environmental studies.

Education: Eli earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan in 2016, his master's degree from Columbia Business School in 2024, and is expected to complete his PhD in May of 2026.
