Howard Schultz, chairman and chief global strategist of Starbucks Coffee Company, is the recipient of Columbia Business School’s prestigious 2000 Botwinick Prize in Business Ethics. The award recognizes Schultz for his long-term commitment to Starbucks employees, or partners, as they are known, and his impact on the company’s international reputation for philanthropy and corporate innovation.
