Notify the PR Team About New Work
If you have new research being published, let the PR team know in advance. We can collaborate with our media partner, SKDK, to inform the press (print, radio, and TV) about your research. Please note we are not generally able to support book launches.
- What to Provide: Share details about the publication, key findings, and any media angles that might appeal to a broader audience.
- Press Outreach: The PR team will work with SKDK to pitch your research to relevant media outlets.
Participate in Faculty Tours
For long-term promotion or to position yourself as a topical expert, faculty members can join the Faculty Tours program. This initiative allows the PR team to stay informed about your work and determine how best to promote it through the media.
- What Are Faculty Tours: Each semester, the PR team meets with 10-15 faculty members to discuss ongoing research and identify media opportunities.
- How to Get Involved: To express interest in participating in a Faculty Tour, simply contact the PR team .
Add Your Work to the CBS Website
Ensure your research is visible to the CBS community and beyond by adding it to the CBS website. You have two options:
- Citations: For any work authored by you that’s been published externally (e.g., journal articles, books), you can create a citation on the CBS website.
- Media Mentions: If your work is mentioned or quoted in external publications, create a media mention. Note: This section is not for works authored by you, but for coverage about you.
