The Office of Student Affairs (OSA) supports the academic and community explorations of full-time MBA students by providing an environment in which students feel a sense of belonging, agency, and partnership in co-creating their optimal MBA experience. The Office of Student Affairs consists of the Academic Advising and Student Success team, the Records and Registration team, and the Student Life and Engagement team.

Nicole Buckley
Nicole Buckley (she/her/hers) is the Assistant Director of Student Life and Engagement for the Office of Student Affairs. Her goals are to foster professional development in student leaders, while working to establish trust with her team. At OSA, Nicole works directly with the professional organizations, as well as the 2022-23 conferences. Prior to working at CBS, Nicole served as a Success Coach at Long Island University Brooklyn, supporting all clubs, organizations, and Greek Life.

Kristen Casano
Kristen Casano is an Associate Director of Advising and Academic Success in the Office of Student Affairs. She provides counseling and advisement to MBA students regarding academic performance, course selection, registration, and degree requirements. She is also the designated dual degree advisor. Kristen manages the Pre-MBA program and designs wellness programming for the MBA community. She earned her undergraduate and graduate degrees from New York University and is dedicated to supporting students and improving the academic experience.
Ria Citrin
Ria Citrin (she/her) serves as a Program Coordinator in the Office of Student Affairs. She brings years of experience supporting students and assisting with special programs in a non-profit environment. Through her recent experience as a Teaching Assistant, she discovered a passion for serving college students and is excited to develop her career in Student Affairs.

Brittany Halinka
Brittany Halinka (she/her/hers) is an Associate Director within the Office of Student Affairs at Columbia Business School. She brings 10 years of experience supporting students and helping them achieve their goals. Born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona - Brittany moved to the east coast in 2011.
She holds two degrees: a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Marketing from Northern Arizona University and a Master of Arts in Student Affairs in Higher Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

Jocelyn McArthur
Jocelyn McArthur is an Assistant Director of Advising and Academic Support. Jocelyn joined Columbia Business School December 2021. Prior to joining the business school, Jocelyn worked in the Biomedical Engineering Department in the School of Engineering and Applied Science as a Student Affairs Specialist. Before joining Columbia University, Jocelyn worked at Mercy College. Jocelyn holds a BA from Temple University, and an MBA from Hofstra University.

Stella Pandis
Stella Pandis (she|her|hers) is an Assistant Director of Student Affairs on the Student Life & Engagement Team. Stella coordinates signature events, specifically Orientation, Recognition, and Commencement, along with other programs such as NYC Outings and the Peer Advisor Program. Prior to joining CBS in August 2021, Stella held a student administrative support position at Fordham University’s Office of Student Affairs and Student Involvement. She holds a B.A. in Political Science and Business Administration from Fordham University and an M.A.
Genesis Pantosin
Genesis Pantosin is the Program Coordinator in the Office of Student Affairs. She is second generation born and raised in Queens, NY. Her family is from Ecuador and she would often spend her summers there when growing up. Prior to CBS, Genesis served as an Admissions Associate in Berkeley College NYC Campus.

Rachel Shapiro (she|her|hers), Senior Director of Student Affairs, supports the full-time MBA co-curricular experience. Rachel has been supporting student life for business school students for over 10 years, creating communities where students can connect with one another and with institutional resources.
