Columbia Business School Seeks Full-time Faculty Member to Lead the Digital Future Initiative
Columbia Business School is seeking qualified faculty applicants for a Professor of Professional Practice or a tenured appointment at the associate professor or full professor level with an expertise in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the Digital Future.
The incumbent will serve as director of the Digital Future Initiative established by the School in 2022, to explore and explain future waves of digital disruption and implications for organizations, governments, and communities. As such, the faculty member's research and/or teaching would be focused on AI and the faculty's service responsibilities would promoting the school's thought leadership, forging and maintaining relationships with all constituencies including faculty, students, alumni, industry professionals, and the public, and managing the Digital Future Initiative resources and staff.
Candidates should combine exceptional disciplinary training together with practical experience, with a strong interest in the professional mission of the school. For a tenured appointment, the candidate is expected to have a PhD in a related field with an outstanding research track record. For a Professor of Professional Practice appointment, the candidate is expected to have more than 10 years of relevant experience in industry.
