Columbia Business School was among the first business schools to introduce business analytics as a core course in the MBA program. Since then, we have continued to add analytics and data-focused classes to the curriculum, including the introduction of a Python programming course in 2015. The number of data and digital-related classes on offer at CBS continues to grow. Of the 845 entering MBA students in 2021, nearly 300 have taken, or are currently taking, a course in Python.
