Serving on the Board is a highly rewarding leadership development opportunity. MBA and EMBA students can apply for a limited number of positions each year. Members are selected based on a demonstrated interest in ethical leadership, and past academic and work experience.
Board members will:
- Sharpen their leadership skillset through attending bi-weekly Board meetings and leadership development trainings offered by the Bernstein Center (anticipated weekly time requirement is no greater than 2-3 hrs/wk).
- Work one-on-one with an executive coach dedicated to Board members, supporting their growth as principled leaders.
- Shape the future of ethical leadership education at CBS by executing programs of their own design in coordination with Bernstein Faculty Leaders and providing direct guidance on curriculum enhancements.
- Serve as a Student Ambassador for the Bernstein Center by proactively promoting leadership development opportunities and programming to fellow students, and secure VIP guest access to high-level events.
