Glenn Rufrano, president and CEO of Cushman & Wakefield offered his perspective on the recent turbulence in the market.

Panelists Michael Acton, Michael Gilberto, and Dan Heflin explored topics including interest rates, inflation, economic growth, and unemployment and the impact these factors have on the real estate market.

Panelists included Keith Barket, senior managing director at Angelo, Gordon & Co., Jay Mantz, vice chairman of investment management at Morgan Stanley, and Steve Wechsler '72, senior managing director at Tishman Speyer.

Paul Milstein, leading New York real estate developer, philanthropist, and friend to the School, died on August 9.

Two new real estate elective courses were offered this Spring 2010 semester: Real Estate Development and Real Estate M&A and Restructuring Deal Workshop.  Students completed final assignments that required them to apply the analytical skill sets and practical frameworks covered in each course.
