At the most recent ACR Conference in Orlando, Don Lehmann was named an ACR Fellow in recognition of his career contributions and "significant impact on scholarly work in consumer behavior.”
On September 29, The American Marketing Association Foundation named Don Lehmann and Sunil Gupta as the winners of the 2006 Berry-AMA Book Prize for the best book in marketing for “Managing Customers as Investments: The Strategic Value of Customers in the Long Run”.
The paper on Hyperopia by Ran Kivetz and Anat Keinan was named one of the 94 best-ideas-of-2006 in an article in the December 10, 2006 Sunday Magazine section of the NY Times - coming in at #54 (in alphabetical order).
The Columbia University Trustees have named Professor Michel Pham of the Marketing division to be an inaugural holder of a Kravis Professorship of Business effective January 1, 2007. The Kravis Professorships are the result of a generous gift from Columbia Business School Board of Overseers Co-Chair Henry Kravis ’69.
The Columbia University Trustees have named Professor Gita Johar of the Marketing division to be the Meyer Feldberg Professor of Business effective January 1, 2007.
