- The theme of this year’s conference was India 2020: The Way Forward, where panelists aimed to explore the different avenues for future reform under the first term of the Narendra Modi Government, across various industries and sectors of the Indian economy. Private Equity Panel featured Professor Margaret M. Cannella.

- Columbia Business School celebrated the milestone anniversaries of the classes of 1966, 1971, 1976, 1981, 1986, 1991, 1996, 2001, 2006, 2011, and 2015 MBA, and 2015 EMBA. Previous celebrants of 50th reunions are members of our Platinum Classes and are also invited back to campus to celebrate the lifelong bond between the School and its alumni. In addition to providing an ideal setting to reconnect with old friends and network with classmates, Reunion Weekend offers you the opportunity to attend informative panel discussions featuring distinguished faculty members and fellow alumni, and to learn about exciting developments taking place in the Columbia Business School community.

- Building on the 40-year tradition of the Annual Dinner, this year’s landmark Centennial Dinner was a milestone celebration of Columbia Business School’s first 100 years of innovation and community. The Centennial Dinner served as a centerpiece of the School’s year-long festivities, bringing together alumni, friends, corporate sponsors, and guests in an evening of support for Columbia Business School.

- Columbia Business School Private Equity Program's Alumni Discussion Series is hosted 2-3 times a year at Alston & Bird LLP's offices. The firm has been a sponsor of the Columbia Business School Private Equity Program’s Alumni Discussion Series since 2010. Topics have covered the full range of the private equity deal cycle from capital raising, portfolio investing and exit. The panels are frequently led by James Sullivan and Matthew Mamak and feature prominent Columbia graduates that continue to play leading roles in the shaping of the private equity and venture capital industries globally.
