More than 80 alumni and friends of Columbia Business School gathered at Credit Suisse offices in New York on Tuesday to connect and celebrate the legacy of Paul Calello ’87, former CEO of Credit Suisse’s Investment Bank.

Professors Bruce Greenwald and Joseph Stiglitz shared their expertise on globalization with Executive MBA students during a course at Columbia Business School July 22-26.

Professor Amit Khandelwal, the Gary Winnick and Martin Granoff Associate Professor of Business in the Finance and Economics Division, has been awarded the 2014 George S. Eccles Research Award.  Khandelwal was chosen through a rigorous and competitive selection process and will be honored at a reception with members of the Eccles family and the Columbia community on May 12. 

More than 60 distinguished Columbia Business School alumni, faculty, and staff members gathered at New York’s Le Parker Meridien hotel in Midtown for the School’s biennial Professorship Celebration on March 24. The event connects alumni who have supported endowed professorships and the professors who hold those chairs.

Run by the School’s Eugene Lang Entrepreneurship Center, the lab is a co-working space where teams of students from across the University can collaborate on their business ventures over the summer.
