Bridging Domains, Inspiring the Future: The Legacy of Don Lehmann

Don Lehmann

In this one-day conference, we will celebrate the extraordinary impact of Don Lehmann on scholarship, mentorship, and cross-disciplinary thinking. Bringing together colleagues, collaborators, former students, and friends, the event will honor his enduring legacy by exploring how his work has connected ideas across domains, shaped generations of researchers, and inspired new directions for the future. Through engaging talks and shared reflection, the conference will highlight the intellectual curiosity, generosity, and vision that define Don Lehmann’s lasting influence. The focus of the conference will be on how Don’s legacy and example can help bridge the differences across domains in marketing and how his mantra of keep it simple but not simplistic applies to the present and future of marketing.
