About the PE Fellows Program
Private Equity Fellows is in an application-only program for full-time MBA students. The Private Equity Fellows Program provides participants -- who complete the requirements -- priority access to curriculum, career resources, and activities. The specialized program is tailored to cover the needs of our most promising MBA PE candidates, while helping our alumni working in the industry by creating a condensed resume book of dedicated candidates.
The Fellows Program enables the PE Program to provide scalable, high-impact support to those most likely to succeed in the competitive PE landscape.
Why apply to the PE Fellows Program?
Private equity careers are highly demanded among CBS students. However, the private equity recruiting process is unique and challenging to navigate, both for those with private equity backgrounds, and those making career transitions. Private equity firms follow a non-standard, bespoke hiring process, typically conducted off-campus and without a set schedule, and hiring needs that vary from year to year. This unconventional process requires that students substantially personalize their career networking and search activities since traditional career tactics and resources may not apply to those pursuing private equity roles.
The students chosen for the PE Fellows Program will have exclusive access to private equity-focused courses and resources, including mentorship opportunities, networking events, and targeted training and interview preparation.
PE Fellows will be included in a resume book that will raise their profile among employers who receive. In addition to helping students, employers seeking MBA candidates can request the PE Fellows Resume book each term from the PE Program. A condensed resume book of high-potential candidates helps industry alumni—who often lack large HR teams—efficiently identify top talent when their funds/firms are ready to hire.
