The Private Equity Curriculum Pathway is an optional sequence of electives tailored to help MBA and EMBA students choose courses that align with specific PE-related career goals. It is part of the Business School's wider Curricular Pathway initiative.
In Spring 2026, Private Equity Capstone will be offered for the first time with Professor Michael Ewens, and is a requirement for the PE Fellows Program students. In 2025, the PE Deals (Lincoln Frank), PE Leverage (Eric Rogoff), and PE Allocation (Kevin Lu) classes were launched.
The Private Equity Pathway covers buyouts, growth equity, and private credit strategies, blending practitioner insights with theory. The gateway course, Private Equity Finance, provides a foundation in financial modeling, value creation, stakeholder perspectives, and contemporary trends. Specialized electives delve into the roles of investment professionals, institutional investors, lenders, and management teams, introducing a diverse range of career paths in the PE industry.
