International law firm Greenberg Traurig LLP announced that Margaret Isa Butler '01, member of the Private Equity Program's Advisory Board, has joined its New York City office as of counsel where she will focus on mergers and acquisitions and joint ventures.

In December 2012 over eighty members and friends of the Columbia Business School community, including current MBA and EMBA students, law students, alumni, and industry professionals gathered at the oceanfront conference facilities of Gurney’s Inn located in Montauk, NY for the 2nd Annual Private Equity Program Deal Camp.

Gary Appel ’77, who recently retired as Vice Chairman of the global middle market private equity funds manager, Castle Harlan, Inc., has been named Executive in Residence at Columbia Business School.

Attendees of the Private Equity Program's 2nd Annual Deal Camp will be participating in a Case Competition launched by the Private Equity Program and KKR.

The Private Equity Program is excited for the 2nd Deal Camp which will be held December 7-9.Applications will open October 8, 2012.For more information, watch our video featuring students who have attended in the past.
