Columbia Business School students win first place in Turnaround Management Association's 2010 Carl Marks Student Paper Competition

The Private Equity Program is excited to continue highlighting alumni accomplishments within the private equity industry, and encouraging involvement of the industry with the School and the Columbia community at large. Starting in its inaugural year, 2007, the Private Equity Program introduced a mentor program between Executive MBAs with private equity experience and full-time MBA students seeking to develop their potential in the industry.

A team of Berkeley-Columbia Executive MBA students took first place at the Northeast regional finals of the Venture Capital Investment Competition (VCIC), held on March 5 at New York University.

The New York Chapter of the Turnaround Management Association (TMA) is sponsoring a competition among selected graduate business school students for the best paper on topics related to corporate financial distress and bankruptcy.
