Once a month, full-time faculty receive an email including a list of research funding opportunities with upcoming deadlines. Faculty members are encouraged to contact Anne-Carine Frederique, Senior Associate Director of Sponsored Project and Foundation Relations, at [email protected] as early as possible when a submission is planned (at least one week before the deadline to ensure adequate time for review), or to explore opportunities or for further information.
Pre-award support includes:
- Dissemination of grant opportunities.
- Grant applications (full proposals, letters of inquiry/intent, sub-awards, re-submissions).
- Liaising with sponsors and federal agencies program officers.
- Interpreting program guidelines and technical and eligibility requirements.
- Entering your proposal into the University's tracking system RASCAL.
- Reviewing and editing your proposal.
- Developing a budget.
- Drafting any supporting documents.
- Completing sponsors' online application forms.
Post-award support includes:
- Review and signing of research agreements and project account set-up.
- Financial management of sponsored projects (no-cost extensions, budget re-allocations, account monitoring).
- Effort Reporting.
- Review and signing of data user agreements, and NDAs/CDAs.
