Requirements
Serving on the Board is a significant commitment and a highly rewarding experience. All Columbia MBA and EMBA students can apply for a limited number of positions each year. Members are selected based on an interest in ethical leadership, demonstrated leadership skills, and past academic and work experience.
Members will:
- Serve as a student ambassador for the Bernstein Center proactively promoting leadership development opportunities and programming to fellow students
- Attend monthly Board meetings and any leadership development training required by the Board or the Bernstein Center (2-3 hrs/wk)
- Pitch and execute projects of their own design in coordination with Bernstein Faculty Leaders
- Provide feedback on curriculum enhancements to the leadership development strategy
