Lisa Andujar-Ray is the Director, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Administration (DEI) at Columbia Business School. In her capacity, Lisa works with the Vice Dean of DEI to advance the school’s diversity, equity, and inclusion goals. Lisa was previously the Associate Director of Administration for the Management Division. Prior to joining the Business School in June 2014, Lisa served as a Manager at AT&T, the Director of Development at the American Cancer Society, and the Director of Marketing and Development at Samaritan House of Atlanta. She holds a B.S.
Youseph Anwar is the Senior Data Analyst in the Dean’s Office at the Columbia Business School. Youseph has graduated with an MA in Economics from Hunter College and is currently working on his MS in Applied Analytics at Columbia. In his previous roles at Columbia, he has worked as an Assistant Director at the School of Professional Studies and as an Analyst in the Data Analytics & Reporting group within Columbia University Facilities & Operations.
Youseph’s hobbies include playing soccer, snowboarding, running marathons, and traveling.
Kiersten Barr is the Senior Director of Data Analytics in the Dean’s Office. Prior to joining Columbia Business School, Kiersten spent close to 5 years at Columbia College Data Group, where she conducted analyses for the deans, built automated reports, collaborated with OPIR on federal and state reporting, and maintained an enrollment model for the Core Curriculum.
Ana Campoverde is the Director, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at Columbia Business School.
Lucie Clifford is a Research Staff Assistant in the Marketing division. She also works closely with the Director and Research Assistants in the BRL, advising on and supporting behavioral research projects for Marketing faculty and PhD students.
Dr. Katie Conway is Vice Dean of Administration and Chief Operating Officer, with financial and administrative oversight of the School.
Katie works closely with the Dean on executive-level large-scale projects supporting School initiatives, including our move to Manhattanville and capital campaigns. She manages the Financial Planning, Operations, Human Resources, and ITG departments, and serves as a key School liaison to University partners.
Eric Dillalogue is the Director of Administration in the Dean's Office. Eric holds a Masters in Library and Information Science from Drexel University and a B.A. in English from Delaware Valley University.
Amanda Eckler is Executive Director in the Office of the Vice Dean for Research. She joined Columbia Business School in 2014 as Associate Director of the Marketing Division. In 2022-23 she served as Director of Academic Administration in the Management Division and as Director of the Behavioral Research Lab before stepping into her current role in the Dean’s Office.
R.A. Farrokhnia, a recipient of the Dean's Award for Teaching Excellence, is an Executive Director at the Dean's Office of "Advanced Projects and Applied Research in Fintech." He also teaches courses at Schools of Business and Engineering; in addition, he is a lecturer and Board Member of the Knight-Bagehot Program at Columbia Graduate School of Journalism.
Professor Feldberg served as Dean of Columbia Business School for 15 years from 1989 to 2004. He is currently on leave of absence serving as a Senior Advisor to Morgan Stanley. He has been a visiting professor at the Cranfield School of Management in England, the Sloan School of Management at Massachusetts Institute of Technology and at INSEAD in France. After graduating from Columbia, Professor Feldberg was employed by B. F. Goodrich Company in Akron, Ohio. In 1972, he was appointed dean of the University of Cape Town's Graduate School of Business.
Jesse Gale is the Vice Dean of Communications and Public Affairs in the Office of the Dean, where she supports the goals and priorities set by the Dean.
Prior to joining CBS, Jesse served as Chief Communications Officer at Bryn Mawr College, Associate Dean for Communications and External Relations at Columbia’s School of International and Public Affairs, and as a director at Columbia’s Office of Alumni and Development. She has extensive experience in communications, constituency engagement, and higher education.
Adam Galinsky is the Vice Dean for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and Paul Calello Professor of Leadership and Ethics at the Columbia Business School.
Professor Galinsky has published more than 300 scientific articles, chapters, and teaching cases in the fields of management and social psychology. His research and teaching focus on leadership, negotiations, diversity, decision-making, and ethics.
Sandra Gaona is the Associate Director in the Office of the Dean. She holds a B.A. in English from Binghamton University and an M.A. in Higher and Postsecondary Education from Teachers College, Columbia University. Before joining the Office of the Dean, she worked at Barnard College’s Access Barnard office, supporting a diverse student population navigating American higher education for the first time.
Kerith Gardner oversees faculty affairs and special projects for the Office of the Senior Vice Dean for Faculty Affairs. Her expertise and responsibilities include developing strategy, policy, and procedures related to faculty, recruitment, retention, and evaluation, working with the centers and programs, accreditation, and special projects. Prior to joining the Business School in November 2008, Gardner worked at Teach For America, as managing director of selection strategy for admissions.
Costis Maglaras is the 16th Dean of Columbia Business School, and the David and Lyn Silfen Professor of Business at Columbia University. Costis received his BS in Electrical Engineering from Imperial College, London, in 1990, and his MS and PhD in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University in 1991 and 1998, respectively. He joined Columbia Business School in 1998, when he joined the Decision, Risk and Operations Division.
Chaney Matos is a Senior Associate Director in the Dean’s Office. Working closely with the Vice Dean on various projects, her main objective is ensuring that the school’s administration operates strategically and efficiently, and with the goal of improving the overall experience of the Business School community. Prior to joining CBS, Chaney worked at Fordham University as an Undergraduate Administrator providing comprehensive administrative support to the English department at Lincoln Center.
As the Director of Budget Operations and Analysis, Soemanta provides high-level support with special emphasis on financial and operations management of departmental budgets under Curriculum & Programs, this includes budgeting, forecasting, tuition and partnership program expense reconciliation, student billing, and accounts payable. She also manages the third-party billing process for incoming EMBA students.
Kristina Montville is Director of Faculty Affairs in the Office of the Dean at CBS. In this position she manages faculty appointments and career administration.
Professor Netzer's expertise centers on one of the major business challenges of the data-rich environment: developing quantitative methods that leverage data to gain a deeper understanding of customer behavior and guide firms' decisions. He focuses primarily on building statistical and econometric models to measure consumer preferences and understand how customer choices change over time, and across contexts. Most notably, he has developed a framework for managing firms' customer bases through dynamic segmentation.
Catalina Ortiz is the Assistant Director of Operations and Student Services in the Executive MBA Programs. She manages the life cycle and development of the executive degree programs, with a special emphasis on financial and operations management, student billing and account management, accounts payable, and budget support.
Professor Tetlock's research interests include behavioral finance, asset pricing, and prediction markets. One area of his research examines how firms' stock market prices respond to the content of news stories. His 2007 Journal of Finance study on the impact of negative words, such as "flaw" and "ruin," won the Smith-Breeden Prize for the best article in asset pricing. His research has been featured in popular press outlets such as Business Week, The Economist, The New York Times, and The Wall Street Journal.
Dr. Abbie Wazlawek is the Senior Director of Strategic Projects at Columbia Business School. She is responsible for framing key issues and leading strategic initiatives to advance the mission of the School. Prior to joining CBS, Abbie led research divisions at a technology startup that was acquired by Dropbox and the fitness companies ClassPass and SoulCycle. Before that she held academic posts at Harvard and Northwestern.
Pierre Yared is the MUTB Professor of International Business, Senior Vice Dean for Faculty Affairs, and Vice Dean for Executive Education at Columbia Business School. His research, which has been published in leading academic journals, focuses on macroeconomic policy and political economy. He is a research associate of the National Bureau of Economic Research and an associate editor of the American Economic Review. Yared teaches Global Economic Environment, a Core MBA course in macroeconomics for which he received the Dean’s Award for Teaching Excellence.
Sofia is a Senior Data Analyst in the Dean's Office, supporting projects to enhance reporting and data infrastructure. She has previously worked as an Associate Data and Research Analyst for Columbia College, and most recently as a Business Intelligence Reporting Analyst for the Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons Office of Development. She is a graduate of Columbia's QMSS master's program and has a BA in Neuroscience and Behavior from Wesleyan University.
