2025 Family Enterprise Owners’ Day
Owner’s Day 2025: Celebrating Why We Own Together
Families have always been builders: of wealth, communities, and legacies. Today, family enterprises account for over 50–70% of global GDP, generate up to $70 trillion in annual turnover, and employ 60–65% of the global workforce, shaping industries and communities around the world. Family offices have tripled in number in recent years, stewarding trillions in assets while advancing innovation, impact, and long-term prosperity.
Owner’s Day 2025 is a time to pause and celebrate the role of family enterprises—both family businesses and family offices—in building prosperity and purpose in the world.
It is also a moment to acknowledge the often unseen work that families do behind the scenes: the hard conversations, the shared decisions, and the commitment it takes to steward assets and values across generations.
Together, we will explore:
- Why is it worth being in business together?
- What is the impact of ownership on the family, its members, the assets we steward, and the communities we serve?
- What opportunities excite us about the future, and what challenges must we prepare for?
- What has helped us thrive, even through complexity?
Through fireside conversations across generations, we will reflect on what it means to be conscious owners today—what we are proud of, what keeps us going, and what it means to own with purpose.
Owner’s Day is not just about looking back; it is about looking forward—together—so that we can continue to shape a future of prosperity, purpose, and progress for our families and the world.
