BBH Family Business Leadership Speaker Series
Launched in 2016, the Brown Brothers Harriman (BBH) Family Business Leadership Speaker Series at Columbia Business School welcomes global family business leaders to campus to share their unique perspectives and to interact with students and alumni. This triannual series, supported with a generous contribution from BBH, is open to students, alumni, scholars, and friends.
Annual Family Enterprise Conference
An annual tradition since 2013, the CBS Family Enterprise Conference provides the ideal opportunity to discuss the common issues and challenges facing family enterprises in a unique setting, surrounded by students, alumni, executives, and industry experts. Every year, over 150 students, alumni, and family enterprise executives gather to discuss how family firms are entrepreneurial, innovative, and dynamic.
Family Enterprise Alumni Circle Events
The Family Enterprise Alumni Circle is a dedicated networking and learning group for CBS alumni who own, manage and/or advise family firms. We host events throughout the year with special access to global scholars, international leaders and our highly engaged Advisory Board of notable principals and executives in family enterprise and wealth management. Membership is complimentary. Some events are fee-based. Members are required to sign our pledge.
Membership is open to all CBS and Global Family Enterprise Program alumni.
Family Enterprise Insights
Family Enterprise Insights features the latest from leading global scholars, family enterprise principals, and expert practitioners. Members of the Advisory Board and Family Enterprise Alumni Circle are also invited to exclusive events with CBS professors.
From time to time, we host other events featuring timely topics and exceptional speakers. Examples include: Estate Planning, Women in Wealth, and Family Business Consulting.
