On May 25, 2017, the Center on Japanese Economy and Business (CJEB) at Columbia Business School, hosted its annual Tokyo Conference, titled “Japan’s Global and Domestic Futures: The U.S. Relationship and FinTech.” The first panel featured speakers, David L. Asher, Senior Vice President for Strategy and Financial Services at SparkCognition, Inc.; Yuko Kawai, Head of FinTech Center of the Payment and Settlement Systems Department at the Bank of Japan; Yutaka Matsuo, Co-Director of the Chair for Global Consumer Intelligence and Project Associate Professor at the University of Tokyo; and Masaaki Tanaka, Senior Global Advisor at PwC International.
The panel was moderated by Takatoshi Ito, Professor at the School of International and Public Affairs of Columbia University.
