Students are encouraged to look for any and all ways to reduce loan debt and external scholarships are a great way of doing this. From corporate fellowships to external foundations, there are opportunities for which you may be eligible.
Please use our scholarship search engines and listing of external awards to perform a customized search. This listing is not exhaustive and some programs may be discontinued, however, it is a great place to start. You should apply directly to the company or foundation before their deadline. Checks should be made payable to Columbia University and will be applied directly to your tuition bill. If you are awarded an outside award, please inform our office as the combination of all applicable grants, regardless of the sources, will not exceed tuition.
