Kaitlin Aviles-Castillo is the Associate Director of Product Marketing in Executive Education. Kaitlin is an experienced project manager and digital strategist. Driven by her commitment to social responsibility, Kaitlin has a proclivity for executing projects that celebrate our unique differences and fortify trust between customer and brand.
Professor Bontempo studies international comparative management, including international negotiations and cultural differences in decision making. His current research involves cultural factors in international negotiations and international differences in risk perception. The winner of the 1994 Singhvi Prize for Scholarship in the Classroom, Bontempo teaches the core course Leadership and the elective Managerial Negotiations. He is a consulting editor for the Journal of Cross-Cultural Psychology.
With nearly 90 academic publications, over 50 students, half a dozen patents, and nearly 10 million online followers, Moran Cerf is one of the leaders in the research and applications of neuroscience in business.
Cerf holds a PhD in neuroscience (Caltech), an MA in Philosophy, and a BSc in Physics (Tel-Aviv University. He has taught leadership and marketing at NYU and the Kellogg School of Management, where he was a professor of neuroscience and business for nearly a decade.
Jeff Chen is the Head of Online and Digital Programs in Executive Education. Jeff oversees all non-credit online programs for Executive Education. His team manages the entire lifecycle of these online programs, from concept to production to program management. Prior to joining the Business School in March 2018, Jeff managed global online production teams at Cambridge University Press and Oxford University Press. He holds a B.A. in English Composition from DePauw University and an M.A. in Cinema Studies from NYU. Jeff is from Taipei. He speaks Mandarin Chinese.
Bruce Craven teaches across the portfolio for executive education, including serving as Faculty Director and running leadership development programs. His teaching focuses on resilience, emotional intelligence, leadership communication and flexible thinking. He also teaches his popular graduate school management elective Leadership Through Fiction. Craven has taught leadership to global audiences of business executives for twenty years.
Shanta Inshiqaq has over twenty years’ experience in the book publishing industry with specific expertise in international sales, marketing, and operations. She recently worked at Baker & Taylor Global Publisher Services as Director of International Sales & Global Operations. As a stakeholder in this business, she was responsible for the growth and development of client publishers and the international sales team.
Denys Kapush is an award-winning AI digital marketer with over a decade of experience developing and implementing successful digital marketing strategies in industries like higher education, non-profits, election campaigns, and for personal brands. Yet, he remains grounded by the values of philanthropy, civil rights and social action, social services, and environmental sustainability.
Dr. Klepper joined Columbia Business School in 1996 after over thirty years as a general manager in higher education. He is a management professor who teaches Executive Leadership in the EMBA program and serves as the Faculty Director of the partnership with the Financial Times/Outstanding Directors Exchange on corporate governance. His teaching and research interest are in the areas of Executive Learning, Strategic Leadership and Corporate Governance.
Yoon Lee is the Director, Learning Solutions in Executive Education. Yoon helps businesses and executives meet their leadership development and skills training goals through a diverse portfolio of programs. She has a special focus and expertise in the Advanced Management Program. Yoon also builds partnerships with corporations, associations, and networks to deliver greater value and educational opportunities to respective customers.
Stephanie LoTempio serves as Associate Director, Executive Education at Columbia Business School. From 2017 to 2023, she held multiple roles within the Weill Music Institute of Carnegie Hall. Most recently, she oversaw national professional development courses for music educators. Stephanie graduated summa cum laude from Ithaca College and holds a master’s degree from NYU Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development.
Professor Low is an experienced entrepreneur and a leading authority on entrepreneurship in independent, corporate and not-for-profit settings. As the founder of the Columbia Entrepreneurship Program, he has worked to make entrepreneurship a viable career option for MBA graduates. As the Co-Director of IE@Columbia, he has worked with faculty, students and staff across the University to spread innovation and entrepreneurship. He has also lead initiatives to improve business education in developing countries, particularly in Africa.
Rita McGrath is a best-selling author, a sought-after advisor and speaker, and a longtime faculty member at Columbia Business School.
Jean Melo is the Sales and Marketing Analyst in Executive Education. Jean plans and executes programs for executives from companies around the globe. Prior to joining the Business School in October 2018, Jean was an Account Manager at Next Street where he worked with small businesses to help them start, operate, and grow in New York City. He was also an owner and manager of a Boost Mobile retail store. Jean holds a B.S.
Flovijana (Flo) Morina is an Assistant Director in Executive Education. Prior to joining the Business School in September 2022, Flo was an Events Manager in the Office of the President at Columbia University where she planned, managed, and executed 25+ in-person programs and events ranging from small gatherings to large-scale events such as the World Leaders Forum series and Commencement.
Willie Pietersen was raised in South Africa, and received a Rhodes Scholarship to Oxford University. After practicing law, he embarked on an international business career. Over a period of twenty years he served as the CEO of multibillion-dollar businesses such as Lever Foods, Seagram USA, Tropicana and Sterling Winthrop's Consumer Health Group. In 1998, Pietersen was named Professor of the Practice of Management at the Columbia University Graduate School of Business.
David Rogers, Faculty of Executive Education at Columbia Business School, is a globally-recognized leader on digital business strategy, known for his pioneering model of customer networks and his work on digital transformation. He is author of four books, including “The Network Is Your Customer,” and his newest book, “The Digital Transformation Playbook: Rethink Your Business for the Digital Age” (Columbia University Press).
Anna Sanchez is an Associate Director in Executive Education. She is a business development professional with over four years of experience in helping small businesses start and grow in the city of New York. Anna graduated from Queens College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature. While at NYC Business Solutions, Anna excelled at connecting and building strong relationships with business owners, as well as honing in on expertise of business education as well as MWBE certification.
Professor Schorer is a serial entrepreneur who specializes in the start-up acquisition and development of small and mid-sized companies. He focuses on businesses with unique ideas or technologies that are in need of guidance during their initial growth phases. Cliff has been involved with companies in the high tech arena, his last position being CEO of GeoVideo Networks, a Lucent Technologies Venture. Prior to that his career included businesses in the real estate, office-supply and health care industries.
Filipe Silva is a Senior Director Custom Programs for Executive Education. He joins Columbia Business School with over a decade of experience in Publishing working for Penguin Random House and Macmillan Publishers and Higher Education working for New York University. He has experience in global sales, ecommerce, business strategy, business development, marketing, and creating online asynchronous content for the International Publishers Association Academy.
Pierre Yared is the MUTB Professor of International Business, Senior Vice Dean for Faculty Affairs, and Vice Dean for Executive Education at Columbia Business School. His research, which has been published in leading academic journals, focuses on macroeconomic policy and political economy. He is a research associate of the National Bureau of Economic Research and an associate editor of the American Economic Review. Yared teaches Global Economic Environment, a Core MBA course in macroeconomics for which he received the Dean’s Award for Teaching Excellence.
Julien is the Associate for Executive Education. He joins Columbia Business School with more than 15 years of experience in Higher Education working for INSEAD (France, Singapore and the US) and London Business School (UK). He has experience in marketing, B2C & B2B sales, digital media, and has a particular interest in CRM systems & analytics. Native of the beautiful Bordeaux area in France, Julien has spent most of his adult life living abroad. During his spare time, Julien studies Japanese and loves traveling - 42 countries and counting.
