Please visit the National Student Loan Data System website to identify loans and servicers. This is a federal loan locator and will tell you the servicer for each loan type (all federal loans are listed except for Perkins). Your loan servicer coordinates billing and other repayment matters. Your loan servicer is a resource to you and will assist you by answering questions about your loan amounts, repayment plan, and repayment start date.
We encourage Federal Direct Loan borrowers to create an account on your servicer’s website as payments can make payments and manage loans in repayment on their loan servicer website directly, not on NSLDS.
