Distinguished Speaker Lunch Series
The Paul Milstein Center for Real Estate hosts several Real Estate Speaker Lunches each semester. This series offers students a unique opportunity to engage with C-suite executives in real estate, learn more about their career, and gain valuable insight on the state of the real estate market. These discussions are often led or moderated by a member of the real estate faculty.
Lunch & Learn Panels
The Paul Milstein Center for Real Estate hosts several Lunch & Learn Panels each academic year. The panels feature senior leaders in various sectors of real estate, many of whom are alumni, and focus on a specific industry topic. Previous areas of focus include affordable housing, debt markets, and AIs impact on real estate development.
Alumni Mentorship Program
The Columbia Business School Real Estate Association together with the Paul Milstein Center for Real Estate run an Alumni Mentorship Program which fosters networking and promotes the pursuit of careers in real estate. Current MBA students who have demonstrated interest in real estate are paired with alumni in the industry for individualized advice and support. The program kicks off with a networking event for all program participants.
Career Forum
The Columbia Business School Real Estate Association, Paul Milstein Center for Real Estate, and the Career Management Center co-host an Annual Real Estate Career Forum at the beginning of the spring semester.
The forum is an opportunity for real estate companies to introduce themselves, share ideas, and network with current Columbia Business School students. This event offers real estate organizations a unique opportunity to forge deeper ties with the Columbia Business School community and recruit future business leaders.
Women in Real Estate Summit
The MSRED Women in Real Estate Development (WIRED) and Columbia Business School Real Estate Association host an annual Summit. This event features a keynote discussion from a C-suite executive followed by panel discussions on various industry topics, and concludes with a networking reception.
