2024 Deming Cup Nomination
Awarded annually, the Deming Cup for Operational Excellence recognizes world leaders who have made outstanding contributions in the area of operational excellence and who have fostered a culture of continuous improvement in an organization.
Award Criteria and Eligibility Requirements:
- A global leader who has applied and demonstrated the Deming principles
- An organization that exhibits multidimensional excellence (e.g. excellence in safety, environmental responsibility and a view towards inclusion)
- An organization known for continuous improvement
- An organization that has increased in shareholder value over a sustained period of time due to organic growth
- An organization where operational excellence has made a decisive impact on the competitive position of the firm
- Evidence of a culture in which all stakeholders in the organization are treated with dignity and respect
- A leader who requires data-driven analysis and has clear commitment to impactful training and skill development
Nominations can be made through self or third-party recommendations. The nominee must demonstrate his/her/their contribution in the achievements of operational excellence through specific and measurable outcomes. Individuals can receive the award only once during their lifetime.
