Andrea Turner Moffitt is the co-founder and president of Plum Alley Investments, a venture firm investing in next-generation technology and health care companies with at least one woman on the founding team. Plum Alley engages women, men, families, and institutions looking to invest in innovative new technologies and medical advancements.
Andrea is also a thought leader on women investors and author of the book Harness the Power of the Purse: Winning Women Investors, which was the culmination of two years of research. Her work has been featured in Forbes, Harvard Business Review, Wall Street Journal, among other media outlets.
Andrea worked previously as an investment banker at Citibank and Robertson Stephens and as an analyst at a hedge fund of funds.
A graduate of Columbia Business School and the School of International and Public Affairs, she earned her BA from Tulane University. She is the co-chair of Columbia Business School’s Tamer Institute for Social Enterprise and Climate Change Alumni Circle. She lives in Brooklyn Heights with her husband and three children.
