Andrew is an MBA student at Columbia Business School. As a Sustainable Investing Fellow, Andrew worked on the Global Sustainable Finance team as part of the Sustainable Insights Lab, applying data science techniques to advance sustainability and drive value throughout Morgan Stanley. His efforts focused on understanding trends in carbon markets and integrating detailed sustainability data within various firm offerings.
Before going to CBS, Andrew worked for a series of environmental organizations. At Yale's School of the Environment, he was a data scientist in Dr. Angel Hsu’s Data-Driven EnviroLab on the Urban Environment and Social Inclusion Index — a tool that leverages high-resolution, large-scale geospatial data to reveal how cities perform at the intersection of environment and social equity. While with the Stockholm Environment Institute, Andrew was a data scientist and engineer for the Trase project, a geospatial research initiative tracking how deforestation is linked to commodity financing and supply chains. When at the Institute for Market Transformation in DC, he published research on green leasing and consulted with commercial real estate and retail operators on decarbonization strategy.
Andrew is co-president of the Green Business Club at CBS. While at CBS, he was a Three Cairns Fellow, working with Cyan Capital Partners to identify emerging investable opportunities that support biodiversity. He holds a BA in international studies from American University.
