Inclusive Entrepreneurship Fellowship
As part of the initiative, MBA/EMBA students apply as 3-4 members of a team for this fellowship to work on projects to create entrepreneurial opportunities and economic growth in collaboration with local NYC community and business leaders during the spring semester. Each team will have a budget of $3,000 to put towards making their community project a success. The funds can be used as an award and/or for goods and services with local organizations and businesses aligned with the project goals.
In addition to the seed grant, student teams have the option of receiving independent study course credit and guidance from faculty, including Professor Dan Wang, the Columbia-Harlem Small Business Development Center, as well as CBS alumni engaged in the area of inclusive entrepreneurship and social enterprise.
