What is the social or environmental issue being addressed?
Annually, $6.8 billion is spent on issues caused by language barriers and the limited English proficient population is three times more likely to suffer preventable adverse events. Through our B2C model, we are reducing language barriers for 68 million Americans who speak other than the English Language. Along with helping these consumers directly, we also provide our platform as a SaaS product to help international medical missions, independent doctors, and nursing homes build their own digital health infrastructure to be able to provide the best care to their clients.
Innovation:
A digital health platform with integrated telehealth and electronic medical record, connecting patients with doctors who speak their native language. We are the only platform that is completely designed according to needs of patients with Limited English Proficiency (LEP). Our platform is designed to cater to LEP individuals by not only connecting them with doctors who speak their language but also translating the entire website/app, medical intake forms and notifications in their language of preference. We ensure that LEP individuals are getting equal services without any chances of error or misunderstanding and are able to build strong trust within the healthcare system.
