What is the social or environmental issue being addressed?
Generators on sea farms pollute the air, water, and tranquility of working on the water. Our self-sustaining power kits eliminate fuels, oils, maintenance, and noise. We reduce human and environmental impacts of sea farms small and large, improve accessibility, and help farmers focus on farming.
Portable refrigeration typically relies on vehicles’ gas or diesel motors. To decarbonize cold chain transportation for aquaculture and agriculture the refrigerated/freezer containers must be self-powered, to preserve the vehicle’s battery for extended range. Our ShredCube™ is self-powered via onboard solar and battery and can be plugged into the grid for stationary applications and charging.
Innovation:
All our systems, on water and land, are remotely monitored and controlled via ShredConnect™. It uses AI to predict energy needs and availability, and alerts when there are potential shortfalls or equipment issues. It also monitors ShredCube™ internal and produces temperatures to verify proper cooling throughout transport.
