![]() Kent Hanson ’24SPS | Kent is pursuing an MS in sustainability management at Columbia University’s School of Professional Studies. As a fellow, Kent worked in Morgan Stanley Investment Management’s private credit and equity (PC&E) division. Kent developed a benchmarking assessment comparing PC&E’s ESG integration across the investment lifecycle to its peer competitors, studied correlations between ESG metrics and financial performance across PC&E, and generated an investment sector thesis on the ruminant methane reduction market for 1GT, PC&E’s climate impact fund. ![]() Solomon Thompson ’24SPS | Solomon is pursuing an MS in sustainability management at Columbia University’s School of Professional Studies. As a fellow, Solomon worked on the ESG and sustainability research team as an equity research associate. He led efforts to evaluate and model costs of capture for technologies like direct air capture (DAC), bioenergy with carbon capture and storage (BECCS), and biochar for a note on the size, viability, and demand of the high-quality carbon offset market. He also contributed to projects on securing power for generative AI, the growth of the nuclear sector, and the green bond market. Read more about Solomon. |
