As a Sustainable Investing Fellow, Amanda worked on the Renewable Energy Investments team within Global Capital Markets, which seeks to deploy Morgan Stanley and client capital into renewable energy projects across the United States. Giz is an MBA student at Columbia Business School. As a Sustainable Investing Fellow, Giz worked in the Global Sustainability Office over the summer, coordinating with various teams from products and solutions to climate to complete six different projects. Her efforts included understanding existing regulatory space for climate scenario analysis, identifying inclusive finance offerings across financial institutions, analyzing biodiversity and nature-related disclosures, competitive benchmarking for sustainability related communications for financial institutions and understanding developments for transition plan requirements and just transition. Pieter Bosmans is pursuing an MPA with a focus on energy and environment at Columbia’s School of International and Public Affairs. During his time as a Sustainable Investing Fellow at Morgan Stanley's Global Capital Markets division, Pieter engaged with clients from diverse industries and transaction types, offering strategic guidance on ESG-related considerations post-IPO and analyzing the potential impact of an M&A on ESG ratings and WACC. Joyce Lam ’24BUS |
Joyce is an MBA student at Columbia Business School. As a Sustainable Investing Fellow, she worked on the Investing With Impact team within the Wealth Management Global Investment Office (GIO). Joyce developed a framework and prototype that leverages Morgan Stanley Impact Quotient data to analyze the alignment of ETFs, mutual funds, and SMAs to relevant impact themes, such as climate and DEI. Her efforts will serve as the foundation for a new manager scoring product available across the division, allowing investors and financial advisors to better align their portfolios with their values.
