The 2016 Global Business Forum, a joint conference hosted by Freshfields and The Richman Center was held on April 5, 2016 in New York City. The forum brought together executives and legal counsel to share insights on conducting international transactions and doing business in the global marketplace. As part of the conference's agenda were four panels that covered topics including: getting a deal done in today's market environment, global business risk and reward, cybersecurity, and global business in 2016. Carlos Brito, the Chief Executive Officer of Anheuser-Busch InBev, provided the event keynote address.

Samuel Palmisano is the Chairman of the Center for Global Enterprise, a private, nonprofit, nonpartisan research institution devoted to the study of the contemporary corporation, the management science of the globally integrated enterprise (GIE), global economic trends, and their impact on society. The CGE was established in 2013 to help educate societal stakeholders – as well as leaders from the private sector, public sector, and academia – on the globally integrated economy and its promise for a better future.
