US Corporate Tax Reform in 2017: Exploring the Options

In 2017, Congress and a new president are likely to take another look at the US corporate income tax, which is widely agreed to be broken. What are the prospects for corporate tax reform? Is a new business tax model needed in today’s global economy? Should taxes on corporate income be collected from corporations, shareholders, or both? How does the international tax environment affect US tax reform efforts?

This half-day event, co-sponsored by the Richard Paul Richman Center for Business, Law, and Public Policy and the American Enterprise Institute will bring together leading experts to discuss options for reforming the taxation of public firms.
